New HopShare partner in Mar Vista:
We welcome Enegren brewer Joe Nascenzi, who runs the hop garden at Ocean View Farms, to the HopShare project.

I checked out the Enegren Brewing Co. (unbelieveable homebrew operation in Moorpark, CA) and I was just blown away. It’s fully automated and they even have their own uniforms.
We brewed a fourteen gallon all-grain batch of Kolsch. One of the members of the brewery is also growing hops at Ocean View Farms, a community garden in Mar Vista.
We anticipate extensive collaboration with the Enegren brewers, whose chief engineer is planning to design a fully automated drip irrigation system and weather station down at the Farmlab site.
Our water tower has arrived at Farmlab.
New HopShare partner in Culver City:
Today I visited with Tim Bardet, owner of the Culver City Home Brewing Supply Co. and de facto caretaker of the hops growing in the back of the shop.
Jaime Lopez, Agriculturalist at Farmlab, notes new growth. Now thirteen plants have broken through the soil.
Pete Natividad discovers our first Mt. Hood hops at Farmlab. We now have hops growing in every bin.
